Form G allows to submit information on relevant publications, libraries, databases, information systems, networks, forums, and other repositories of knowledge which can be used inter-alia to:

1. Promote the transfer, acquisition, adaptation and development of technologies, knowledge, know-how and practices relevant to combating desertification or mitigating the effects of drought in affected developing countries;
2. Promote the participation of interested Parties, UN agencies, multilateral financial institutions, foundations, academic institutions, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other private sector entities in the implementation of the Convention;
3. Increase awareness of the Convention and facilitate contacts and discussion of relevant issues;
4. Promote partnership building and stimulate coordination between actors and organizations dealing with issues related to combating land degradation and poverty;
5. Supplement other resource mobilization efforts and strategies for the implementation of the Convention at the local, national, subregional and regional levels.
