The Ad Hoc Working Group (AHWG) established by the Conference of Parties to improve the procedures for communication of information, particularly at the national level, as well as the quality and format of reports on the implementation of the Convention, decided to include in its final recommendations the adoption of a methodological guide developed by the GM. The methodological guide, which has been pilot tested by IFAD in 2006, promotes harmonization and standardization of reporting of information on resources invested in activities related to the implementation of the Convention. The methodology is contained in document ICCD/CRIC(6)/6/Add.1.
