The new version of the FIELD portal has been released and is now accessible from a new Internet domain: www.gmfield.info.

In addition to a fully restyled graphical interface, the portal features new functionalities which have been developed to respond to user feedback and stakeholder recommendations. This includes a dashboard, an advanced search engine and enhanced navigation pathways. The underlying content management system has also been upgraded and now allows for web-based decentralised data entry, quality control and e-mail notification. Furthermore, the whole database has been migrated to a dedicated and more powerful server environment which is expected to substantially improve the transaction speed and response time, to the benefit of FIELD’s end users.
